Released to commemorate the opening of Medicom Toy's new flagship store in Tokyo Skytree Town, Soramachi. The design is based on the common Japanese sculpture Maneki Neko, also known as Welcoming Cat, Lucky Cat, Money Cat or Fortune Cat. The cat (literally "Beckoning Cat") is believed to bring good luck to the owner.
